Winner - 2007 reddot design award for Design Excellence

Talea Touch (Model 2007), Saeco's automatic espresso coffee-making machine for home use, with the Milk Island - link to Bubble, a special accessory able to transform milk into a soft froth, has won the prestigious 'reddot' award for design excellence. The 'reddot design award' is one of the most noted international awards in the design sector, and has been supported since 1955 by the Essen Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen (Germany) and yearly assigned to products that stand out for innovative design. An international jury of top experts in the sector has this year evaluated 2,458 products from 43 countries. The initiative concludes with an official ceremony for the consignment of the awards, to take place in Essen on 25th June 2007, and the inauguration of a large exhibition of the winning products. Talea with Milk Island will thus have a place in the 'reddot design museum', the largest exhibition of contemporary design in the world.

The Milk Island is available in glass with a total capacity of 0.4 or 0.8 litres.

Panarello Frothing Device

The Pannarello frothing device dispenses steam in three different directions and makes it easy to froth milk for cappuccinos and lattes. It also dispenses hot water for making hot drinks and soups, and is completely removable for easy cleaning.
Advantage: With Pannarello frothing device, you can still froth milk to create your favourite drinks, such as lattes and cappuccinos, even withouth the Milk Island accessory.

Saeco Aroma System
Saeco Aroma System - Pre-brewing function

Taste the full aroma of coffee beans in every cup! The Saeco Aroma System consists of a pre-brewing cycle in which the coffee grounds are moistened for a few seconds, causing them to swell, which will ensure optimal flavour extraction before water is forced through the grinds. Once brewed, the coffee is forced through a small chamber and out the brew head with a thick crema, which retains the coffee's rich flavourful taste.
