All BUNN® filters are made from 100% virgin pulp and approved by the Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA). They are oxygen whitened, chlorine free and naturally biodegradable. No formaldehyde is used in the manufacturing of BUNN® filters. Our supplier does not ship the paper to us until they believe it to be completely safe and well below the limit set by the Environmental Protection Agency. Bunn-O-Matic will not buy any paper stock which does not meet high standards of purity.
